Viu is one of the video streaming services, which is also popular in Malaysia. Viu presents content by focusing on the Asian market, including dramas from Korea, Japan, including its own local dramas.
Most recently, sharing about the company's development, Viu stated that it operates in more than 16 countries, and currently has around 66.4 million monthly active customers. 12.2 million users of which are paid subscribers.
Viu generates revenue through several methods, namely through subscription fees, and also through advertising.
Viu also aims to continue to focus on the Southeast Asian region, which saw the highest number of streaming subscribers in the industry in the 4th quarter of 2022.
