WhatsApp Has 4 New Features, You Can Add Captions to Documents

WhatsApp has released four new features after previously presenting a series of new features for Status. One of them is the option to add captions in the document.

These four new features were found in WhatsApp's latest changelog on the Google Play Store. As it is included in the official changelog, these features are available for all Android users who have the latest version of WhatsApp installed.

If you have installed the latest version of WhatsApp but can't access these new features, don't worry because this feature is rolling out in stages so please wait for the next update.

4 WhatsApp new features on Android:

1. Caption in the document

WhatsApp users who are diligent in sending documents can now add a caption before sending the selected file. How to use it is easy, just select the document to be sent then enter the desired caption in the bottom bar, then send the message as usual.

This new feature can make it easier for users to find documents in WhatsApp chats because they can be searched immediately by entering the caption added in the search field.

2. Longer subject and group descriptions

With this new feature, WhatsApp group admins can now more freely change group names and descriptions without too few character limits.

WhatsApp has now increased the character limit for group names from 25 characters to 100 characters. The group admin is also more free to determine the group name according to its function.

Apart from that, WhatsApp has also increased the group description from 512 characters to 2,048 characters. This significant improvement allows group admins to be more flexible in adding details and information about groups.

3. Share 100 media

Whatsapp users can now share 100 media at once. With this new feature, WhatsApp users can share up to 100 photos, videos or GIFs with family and friends.

Previously WhatsApp only allowed users to send up to 30 media at once. Now users can share holiday photo albums with other family members more easily.

4. Avatars

WhatsApp has actually released the Avatar feature for all users via the Whatsapp update for Android version 2.22.24.73. But the feature was again highlighted in the official changelog to inform users who may not be familiar with it.

WhatsApp users can create and personalize avatars by opening the WhatsApp settings and then selecting the Avatar menu. There the user is free to determine the skin color, hair style, clothes, etc. for his avatar as he wishes.

Avatars that have been created can still be edited as desired. After the avatar is finished, you can send it as a sticker in chat or set it as a profile photo.
