WhatsApp Status is a built-in feature on the WhatsApp messaging service that allows users to share brief updates that disappear after a 24-hour period – much like Stories.
Recently, today WhatsApp introduced some new features on WhatsApp Stories. One of them is the ability to share audio for 30 seconds and publish it on WhatsApp Status.
In addition, users can also now provide emoji reactions in a selection of eight available emojis.
This new update also adds a green circle to the chat window to indicate that the user has a shared WhatsApp Status.
