Xiaomi today took the main stage at the MWC 2023 (Mobile World Congress 2023) event, sharing a number of their company's developments as well as the introduction of new products.
One of the new products introduced is the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which is the latest addition to the Xiaomi 13 series that has been introduced in China before.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is a smartphone with a similar design to the previous Xiaomi Civi 2, but optimized for the global market, including some changes to the specifications.
Xiaomi 13 Lite comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen, powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, as well as 8GB LPDDR4X RAM memory. It also comes with a storage variant of up to 256GB based on UFS 2.2
On the camera side, it includes a 50-megapixel main sensor on the back, which is also equipped with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and also a 2MP macro sensor.
The interesting thing about the front camera is that it includes a dual front camera combination of 32MP + 8MP for depth. With this move, it offers a more beautiful bokeh effect using the front camera – not to mention the era of making live videos on social media such as Instagram Stories and even TikTok Live.
Xiaomi 13 Lite also includes a feature called Selfie Glow to record selfies more clearly and brightly.
Completing this smartphone is also a 4500mAh battery with 67W wired charging support.
For now, it is not yet known when the "Lite" phone under the Xiaomi 13 series will be marketed in Malaysia.
