YouTube Now Has Multi-Language Audio Options

If you're streaming content from Netflix or Prime Video, you can change the audio of the original content with audio in another language that's easier to understand. We use this feature for Korean series watched in English. Now this feature that has existed since the days of SVCD is finally supported on the YouTube platform.

Over the past year YouTube has partnered with popular channels such as Mr Beast to offer multilingual audio tracks on their popular videos. Mr Beast himself has done the dubbing process on 11 videos that have been uploaded. In total YouTube currently offers 3500 videos with a choice of audio tracks in 40 languages.

According to YouTube, content producers who offer multilingual audio tracks can increase views by over 15% compared to just videos with one audio track. This feature can now be used with audio tracks changed via the Audio Tracks settings option.
