Leading Apple product analyst Ming-Chu Kuo released his latest prediction today and it's quite interesting. According to Kuo, the new Apple HomePod with a 7″ screen will be launched as early as H2 2024.
This isn't the first time rumors of Apple's smart screen with audio capabilities have been heard. Google and Amazon already have similar products in the form of the Nest Hub Max and Echo Show. If a HomePod with this screen is launched, it could become a hub to control various internet of things devices used in the home.
The existing HomePod can do the same but is limited to Siri voice commands only. Next Hub Max at this time can not only be a hub but can also be used to make video calls and watch videos.
All HomePod products have not yet been widely marketed and until now cannot be officially purchased in Malaysia. As long as it hasn't been offered that long Apple will be behind their competitors in the home internet of things device segment.
