Apple Introduces Special Applications For Streaming Classical Music

Apple Music Classical was finally introduced today officially. It is Apple's second music streaming platform after Apple Music. But unlike Apple Music which offers various genres of music, Apple Music Classical as the name suggests only focuses on classical music.

Apple Music Classical offers a classical music library of over 5 million recordings including new works, masterpieces, and thousands of albums.

Most of the content is instrumental music and legendary collections such as from Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin and Johann Sebastian Bach.

The app also offers search capabilities by composer, conductor, catalog number and more. Like Apple Music, lossless high-resolution audio up to 192kH/24 bit is also supported. Not forgetting that Apple also offers spatial audio support for a more immersive listening experience.

Apple Music Classical also displays artist biographies, piece details and more for additional user knowledge.

Apple's new music streaming service will only be launched on March 28. For now only iOS devices are supported ie those running iOS 15.4 and above, while applications for Android devices will be introduced in the future.
