Apple Reportedly Developing Siri-Based Chat-GPT-like Technology

GPT text generation services are now gaining popularity. Many platforms already use it such as Bing, LinkedIn, and many others. The use of this service is very easy because the concept is like chatting in a messaging application.

The NYT recently reported that Apple is also developing more or less the same feature to be integrated into Siri. Apple engineers are said to test various concepts every week to find and ensure which one is the best for Siri.

But Siri has a big problem in terms of development if it wants to add new features and functions. The problem is that Siri's code is messy and messy, so much so that updating it by adding phrases takes up to six weeks.

If you want to add search features and support like ChatGPT, development is estimated to take up to a year. Former Apple engineer Joihn Burjey, who was involved in the development of Siri, said it would be difficult for this digital assistant to be as creative and intelligent as other GPT services.
