Axioo Pongo, a Gaming Laptop that Uses a Desktop Processor


 Axioo which usually "plays" in the realm of affordable laptops is now entering gaming laptops through Axioo Pongo.

The name Pongo was chosen because it is considered to represent the originality of Indonesia, because Pongo is the Latin name of Orang Utan.


As a gaming laptop, surely Axioo PONGO comes with the best specifications. Starting from a series of heavyweight processors, up to graphics cards that are ready to display the best visual quality even in games that are known to be realistic.

There are three processor options available for Pongo, namely Core i7-11700, Core i5-11400, and Core i3-10100. According to Axioo, this processor was chosen so that gamers can feel the performance of a desktop PC in a laptop.

The use of this desktop processor makes Pongo also use a motherboard with a desktop processor socket, namely LGA1200. This means that users can upgrade the processor used as needed.


Meanwhile in the GPU sector, the choice falls on the Nvidia RTX 3070, which is promised to be capable of playing heavyweight games. The GDDR6 VRAM used has a capacity of 8GB, capable of playing games with high resolution.


There are two dual channel DDR4 SODIMM slots with a maximum RAM capacity of 64GB. For storage there are two M.2 2280 NVMe slots and a SATA 2.5" with a storage capacity of up to 6TB.


Pongo uses a 16 inch screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz which has a color gamut of 100% sRGB and 72% NTSC. The keyboard is also equipped with a backlit whose color can be changed according to taste.
