Camera For Vlog Sony ZV-E1 Comes With Full Frame Sensor

Another digital camera specifically for vloggers has been launched by Sony today. The Sony ZV-E1 differs from the previous model in that this time it comes with the same 12MP full-frame sensor as used on the previous Sony A7S III and FX3.

This sensor is also matched with the BIONZ XR imaging chip to ensure good image quality when used. Video recording capability is up to 4K 60FPS 10-bit. For those who want to record videos in cinematic mode, Cinemascope mode can be selected by changing the screen ratio to 21:9. In the body stil IBIS stabilization is included.

A special feature for vlogs is the ability to automatically follow the movement of a moving subject like Center Stage mode on an iPad. The ability to give importance to the audio in front can also be done. The Dynamic Active Mode feature stabilizes the video recorded while running but will be through the cropping method on the video.

On the back is an LCD screen that can be rotated forward. However, the camera does not have an EVF which will make it difficult for those who want to use the Sony ZV-E1 as a photography camera. The Sony ZV-E1 retails for $2199 (~RM9734) for the body only and $2499 (~RM11063) with the 28-60 mm F4.5-5.6 kit lens.
