Chinese Suicide Drone Concerns Deployed to Russia

A Chinese combat drone company is rumored to be supplying the Russian military with suicide drones. If true, it could be an important aid for Russia to attack Ukraine and of course worry western countries.

As reported, German magazine Der Spiegel reported that Russia is currently in talks with a Chinese company to acquire hundreds of Chinese kamikaze drones to carry out attacks on Ukrainian cities. Shipments will reportedly start in April.

As for the United States, Germany, and other Western countries, they have warned China not to supply weapons to Russia because such a step would have serious repercussions, and some even considered it could trigger World War 3.

Although not necessarily true, China's drone assistance is considered to be useful for Russia. Quoted by us from Newsweek, the drone in question is probably the ZT-180, which is capable of carrying a warhead of up to 50 kilograms. The drone was made by Xi'an Bingo Intelligent Aviation Technology company, which has denied any talks with Russia.

Little is known about the suicide drone, but according to war history expert James Rogers, the drone would have hit key targets with as much accuracy as possible to ensure maximum damage.

Its range is considered far enough so that it can be flown from Russian territory or from Belarus, to crash into targets in Ukraine. Currently, Russia's flagship drones for doing the same are the Shahed-131 and 136 supplied by Iran.

The UK Ministry of Defense has disclosed that Russia has not operated the drones to Ukraine since mid-February, indicating that they are out of supply. So there is concern that it is not impossible for them to turn to China for help.

It is predicted that China itself will not recklessly supply weapons to Russia because it has been warned by western countries. "If they do, then the payoff will be good for China," said Jake Sullivan, US National Security adviser.
