COD Mobile Will Be Stopped After Warzone Mobile Launches

Call of Duty : Mobile (COD Mobile) is our favorite for delivering the COD experience in a very accessible mobile version. COD Mobile's graphics quality is also very good for a freebie. But COD Mobile's highly profitable future for Activision is coming to an end in the near future.

In Activision's response letter to the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), they confirmed support for COD Mobile will be phased out after Warzone Mobile launches. At this time the first Warzone Mobile is expected to be launched at the end of 2023. Support will only continue for the Chinese market only.

Until when COD Mobile will be supported is still unknown. Since its launch in 2019, it has nearly 60 million monthly active players. What will happen to all the internal items in the COD Mobile game later is also still a mystery.

Of course, it is common for a game to be supported for a certain period only. For example, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of GTA 5 have been discontinued in 2021, eight years after launch.
