Did you know, Australians and African look at the reverse moon

People living in Australia, Africa, Uruguay, see the moon and the constellation of the stars inverted. Very different from what we see. Why so?

Those of us who live in the north of the planet are used to the very specific views of the moon. For those who have never traveled outside the northern land, or just on the Asian continent, Eropa, North America, or Arctic, the view of the moon has not changed much.

However, when moving to the southern land, for example, visiting South America, Africa, Australia, or a new one, we will find something strange about the moon. Did you know that the moon will look upside down for the northern people if we see it from this area.

Similarly, residents who are used to the view of the southern hemorrhage, while moving to the northern land will see the moon turning upside down, different from what they usually see.

Different orientation

Why does the moon look back from South America, Africa, and Australia? That's because we are on a round planet. This also emphasizes the fact that the earth is round, not flat.

In the meantime, two people stand in the North Pole and the South Pole with their heads overlooking the moon. In fact, their views lead in the opposite direction.

Collected from Science Focus, people in the North Pole saw the moon with mare (dark parts of the moon) stretching along the 'summit' of the moon, and its bright territory was at the bottom. In the South Pole, Mare is along the bottom edge of the moon, with a brighter area at the top.

So, it is a moon that seems to be turned upside down in the southern land compared to the northern land. This is just an orientation problem.

Imagine if the moon is orbiting in the same field as the Ekuator. If we are in the northern land, the moon will always appear in the southern sky because it is an eccentric direction. In fact, this is happening in the Southern land, the moon will appear in the northern sky.

So, these two observers see the same object in the opposite direction and naturally means that one sees the object inverted compared to the other.
