EcoFlow is a new power accessory product brand in Malaysia. Last week, they launched the River 2 and Delta 2 series, which are portable power stations for use when glamping, camping, picnicking, or outdoor activities that consume days. These two of their main products can be said to be powerbanks that have taken steroids.
A product like this is not for everyone, as it is a product that is only needed for specific uses. If you don't camp or rarely do outdoor activities, this product will feel overpriced – but if you do often it's worth it.
River 2
There are three models under River 2 namely River 2, River 2 Max and River 2 Pro. All of these products focus on the ability to provide power under 1kWh. The weight can start from 3.5kg as unique and has support for charging five times faster than competitors. This means, models like River 2 can be charged from 0% to 100% in less than an hour, providing convenience to users as well as long-lasting durability.
Each River 2 uses a LiFePO4 (LFP) battery that has a charge cycle endurance of up to 3000 times for 10 years.
There are DC ports, power plugs, USB-A and USB-C PD 100W for all models. The difference is in the number of ports to connect only.
Delta 2 is the much more powerful EcoFlow portable power station series. There are also three models, namely Delta 2, Delta Max and Delta Pro. The power that can be given is as low as 3kWh and can reach up to 25kWh for endurance for days.
Each Delta model supports connection to additional battery packs, for additional power of up to 3040Wh per unit. The charging power for Delta is 0%-80% in 50 minutes, and has an output power to charge various devices or gadgets/accessories up to 2200W.
The Delta Pro model can also be used as a power bank for electric cars, making it even easier for EV car users to go long distances if there is no charging station nearby. Each model has roughly the same connection ports as the River 2, only with more extras and wheels for easy portability.
Each River 2 and Delta 2 also support solar panel connections. There are four panels, namely 110W, 160W, 220W and 400W. Each panel comes in a bag-like fold and zip design, constructed from durable materials for waterproofing, and lightweight.
Each solar panel also has its own legs for easy installation when doing activities. This solar can ensure that every portable power station has extra power if the battery is running low. Recharging power of River or Delta is up to 3 hours to full using this solar panel.
The sale of each EcoFlow started last March 4, with the price of River 2 being RM1399, River 2 Max RM2399 and River 2 Pro RM2999.
Delta 2 is sold at a price of RM4,999, Delta Max at a price of RM8,999 and Delta Pro reaches up to RM16,999.
The price of solar panels starts at RM1199 and reaches up to RM3999. Each of these EcoFlow products can be purchased at EcoFlow's official Shopee or Lazada. The guarantee given is one year and a rebate of up to RM840 will also be given if the user wants to trade-in.
