Elon Musk And A Number Of Parties Request To Temporarily Stop Training AI Systems That Are More Powerful Than GPT-4

Elon Musk (CEO of Twitter), Steve Wozniak (founder of Apple), Evan Sharp (founder of Pinterest), and a number of parties in the arena of technology and other industries have now signed an open letter, asking to pause artificial intelligence experiments for a while.

Through the open letter, it is requested that various artificial intelligence laboratories temporarily stop the development and training of artificial intelligence systems for a period of at least 6 months.

This move is seen to temporarily prevent the development of a more powerful artificial intelligence system than GPT-4.

This is requested because today various parties are racing for the development of artificial intelligence - and it is seen that many do not understand and may not even be able to control and predict it.

This open letter calls for a temporary halt to development, and instead focuses on establishing a common security protocol at an industry level.

For now, there is no response issued by the parties who are actively developing artificial intelligence today regarding this matter, including OpenAI and even Google itself.
