FreeYond M5 Will Arrive In Local Market – 5000mAH Battery, 18W Charging At RM699


 FreeYond, a new smart device brand from China has today announced their arrival in the local market with new smart devices that come with attractive specifications and affordable price tags.



FreeYond has today announced that they will be bringing their flagship device, the FreeYond M5 to the local market soon. The device features a 6.52-inch IPS display with HD resolution (720p) and a 90Hz refresh rate and 400nit brightness.


It is powered by a UNISOC Tiger T606 processor chip with eight cores and a speed of 1.6GHz, 8GB of memory and 128GB of built-in storage. If you need more storage, you can also add it via a microSD card which supports up to 1TB of storage.



The device also runs on Android 12 operating system with DokeOS 3.0 interface. So far it is not known how long this device will be supported by this brand in the future.


In terms of cameras, the FreeYond M5 comes with a tri-camera system with a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP micro lens. With the use of the Samsung Isocell JN1 sensor, this camera also has a quad-bayer pixel binning feature that promises sharp and colorful images even in dark conditions.



To lower the development cost of this device, the back frame of this device is made of plastic, and will come in black and blue color options.


FreeYond Malaysia says that the FreeYond M5 device will enter the local market in July and will be offered at an affordable price of RM699.
