ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, is going through various crises in the existence of the company, in addition to its CEO, Shou Zi Chew having to face questions from the United States Senate, and the decision made by several governments to ban the installation of TikTok on the devices of civil servants.
After the United States, the UK, India and New Zealand, it is the turn of the French government to ban the application from the devices. Only this time, the French government also issued a list of other banned applications as well, including Candy Crush, Netflix and Twitter from the devices of these civil servants.
The reason given is because of the government's concern that these applications may cause the leakage of data from employees and the government. Restrictions on using these applications are also not subject to private devices.
In the meantime, this rule is started immediately, and the punishment for breaking this new rule is subject to the respective ministries.
