Google Pixel 3a, 4a, 5a and 6a are the popular mid-range Pixel device series. This is because the software updates are given on a par with flagship devices and the camera software is more or less the same so users don't need to spend more.
The next A-series device is the Pixel 7a which has been leaked several times. This time the actual device of this device has already arrived in someone's hands and a lot of information has been revealed. It's just a pity that Google has managed to lock this device so that it cannot be used.
The first thing that is obvious is the design. The Pixel 7a is obviously just the Pixel 7 Mini, which comes in a more compact size but retains its big brother's design elements including an aluminum camera bar instead of glass. The screen bezel is also still thick, but at an acceptable rate because it looks almost even.
The big change on the Pixel 7a compared to the Pixel 6a is the memory, the device is said to use 8GB of RAM – a first for the Pixel A series. It is paired with 128GB of storage, a Tensor G2 chip and Google has also included 5W wireless charging support on the device.
The camera was previously claimed to be 50+64+12 Megapixel, but sources say the Pixel 7a camera may still be 12MP. Overall this device looks more premium than the Pixel 6a, but it is still uncertain when it will be launched – possibly at the Google I/O 2023 event which will take place on May 10.
