Seven generations of Google Pixel devices have been introduced, until today none of them are officially offered in Malaysia. Most recently, the eighth generation will be launched, the Pixel 8. There is still no word on the specifications of this device, but a 3D mockup image has been leaked showing the full design of this device.
The image above is for the Pixel 8 Pro. At first glance, the design of the Pixel reminds me of the design of the iPhone X. There are curves on the sides and the back panel and the corners are more rounded than the Pixel design that everyone knows.
What is clearly visible is that the camera sensor is now in the same oval and is no longer separate. There are three sensors and also a mysterious sensor under the LED flash light. The screen size is said to be 6.52-inches, and the legs are completely flat as opposed to the slightly curved ones before.
In the video above, the source shows the usual Pixel 8 design which is said to be getting smaller. The screen size is said to be 5.8-inch flat type in a curved body like the Pixel 8 Pro. The camera still remains with two sensors and no other sensors have been added.
It will be interesting to see how Google differentiates these two models. The Pro version obviously focuses on the camera while the regular version is more of a compact flagship device.
These two devices according to sources may be introduced at the Google I/O 2023 event that takes place in May. Presence in the Malaysian market is still unknown for now.
