Google Translate Web Version Can Now Change the Language of Image Content

Google Goggles has long had a feature to translate the language from captured images. This feature was later expanded to the Google Images version of the application which is very useful when going to countries that do not have signs in an understood language. Today the web version of Google Translate has been updated with a new cir that allows the content in the image to be translated.

This feature was noticed by the Engadget site first. When going to the Google Translate page, there is a new option with an "Images" button. When pressed, there is an option to upload the picture you want to translate. The user can then view the image with the language understood or place the original image with the image with subtitles side by side. For those who want to use this feature, please go to the Google Translate page today.
