Honor is once again present with a new flagship device through the introduction of the Magic5 series at the Mobile World Congress 2023, during the day. It focuses on performance through the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip generation. In addition, the mobile imaging system is better with various photography and videography features.
In addition, Honor Magic5 Ultimate was introduced in China today. It comes with several changes, thus making it more attractive than it already is. For example, like the back panel with a leather finish that makes the device neater in the hand. The device is available in two color options namely Elegant Black or Burning Orange.
Next there is no visible round-shaped camera module, instead it is more square that houses the main tri-camera system. The Honor Magic5 Ultimate also provides USB-C earphones, unlike the previous variant. The memory capacity is also larger reaching 16GB RAM.
Moving on to the internal specifications, everything is the same as the Magic5 Pro. 6.81-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. This is paired with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a 50MP main tri-sensor, a 12MP selfie camera and a 5,450mAh battery that supports a 66W fast charging system. As for the price, the device is sold at CNY6699 (~RM4,325) each and is limited to the Chinese market so far.
