Glasses are also part of Honor's latest product which was announced recently. Known as Honor Movie Glasses, it is equipped with a lightweight and compact design to ensure a comfortable wearing experience at all times.
Also included is a Micro OLED screen with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels that also supports a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500nits. It also offers the experience of watching a 201-inch screen directly from a lightweight headset. At the same time, it can also display several built-in applications side by side, while also supporting 3D tracking through the built-in motion sensor.
Furthermore, there are also two built-in speakers with 360-degree audio support that allows users to enjoy a virtual audio experience from all directions. This is further combined with a built-in dual-microphone that can be used to answer phone calls as well as an easy communication experience. However, these glasses need to be tethered to a smart device first before they can be used. This tethering can be done using the USB-C cable that Honor also provides with these glasses.
These Honor Movie Glasses are sold in China at a price of RMB2499 (~RM1,612), but Honor has not yet shared further plans to launch them to the global market.
