A man in Peru became news because he brought hundreds of years old mummies in his bag. In fact he claimed to sleep with the mummy and declared it as his spiritual lover.
As quoted by us from CNN, Thursday (2/3/2023) the mummy is estimated to be between 600 to 800 years old. Initially, there were 3 people drinking in the city of Puno. One of them brought a big enough bag and it turned out that he carried the mummy in a complete state.
"A 26 -year -old man has a bag and in it, there is a mummy," said Marco Antonio Ortega from the local police. The bag reads Pedidos, the application of delivery of goods in the country.
The man who was known was named Julio Cesar berjo. He named the mummy as Juanita and regarded her as a spiritual girlfriend. "At home, he was in my room, he slept with me. I took care of him," he said. According to him, the mummy was actually owned by his father.
After being investigated, the mummy in life was an adult man as high as 1.51 meters, around 45 years old and the possibility he was found in the eastern area of the city of Puno. The mummy has been confiscated by the Ministry of Culture Peru because it is considered as a national cultural asset.
As for Cesar Bermo and his two friends are currently detained because investigators want to know how he can find and also carry the mummy everywhere, even considering him as his lover. It could be that he will be processed later.
Peru itself does have hundreds of archeological sites from various civilizations, both before and after the Kingdom of Inca. Many mummies have been found there and were investigated by archeologists.
