FreeBuds Pro 2+ has been officially announced in China as another new update to Huawei's audio accessories. It features an in-ear earphone design with a silicone bud similar to the previous generation. This is paired with a round charging pod that is only available in an all-white finish.
What's interesting about this new Huawei earphone is the built-in heart rate and body temperature monitoring technology. This at the same time makes it a suitable choice for those who care about an active lifestyle. With the combination of the HUAWEI TruSeen heart rate algorithm, these earphones are claimed to be able to monitor the heart rate with an accuracy of up to 95%.
Next, it uses a pair of 11mm dynamic audio drivers to produce solid sound. Also included is Intelligent ANC 2.0 active noise cancellation that can absorb noise up to 47 db with three user-selectable modes according to the environment. In addition, LDAC and Spatial Audio coded support for more immersive audio.
The included 580mAh battery is capable of lasting up to 27 hours with the help of a charging pod. Then the recharging process takes about 120 minutes to be full. These earphones are sold in China at a price of RMB1499 (~RM969) per unit.
