The Intel Arc Alchemist series of graphics cards was officially launched at the beginning of last year and offers mid-range performance in line with its price tag. While it's not as good as the options shown by AMD and NVIDIA, it's good enough to run their favorite games at resolutions and settings with no lag issues.
Recently, details about Intel's second generation series of graphics cards, the Intel Arc Battlemage have been shown through some leaked screenshots. This series of graphics cards, at its highest offering will come with a total of 64 cores compared to 32 on the previous model.
It will also come with a total of 1024 Execution Units, twice as many as Arc Alchemist and will come with a speed of around 3.0GHz.
This graphics card also seems to be built using the 4nm process by TSMC, which is expected to come with much better performance compared to what graphics cards such as the Intel Arc A770 have offered before.
At the moment it is still unknown what graphics card options Intel will show, but if it is more or less the same as what was shown through Intel Arc Alchemist, they will apparently introduce a number of offerings for desktop computers as well as laptops.
