iPhone SE Gen 4 Development Restarts With Apple-Designed Modem

Earlier, Ming-Chi Kuo, a leading analyst said that Apple stopped the development of the new iPhone SE after experiencing problems with its own 5G modem. Now he issued a report saying that the development has continued with the device will be equipped with a 6.1″ screen.

This means the device will have a Face ID system and no more physical home button support on the front. Kuo added that this modem designed by Apple only supports the Sub-6GHz 5G network. He predicts the iPhone SE Gen 4 will only be launched by Apple in 2024, two years after the last time this model was updated.

In addition, Ross Young, who often leaks information about screen technology, added that the iPhone SE 4 will use a screen produced by BOE entirely. Different from the iPhone 14 series which uses panels produced by Samsung and LG.
