The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia has now issued an official statement related to the alleged issue of taxpayer data leakage that went viral on social platforms recently.
The IRB insists that all taxpayer data confidentiality on the MyTax platform is safe and secure, including being protected by recognized security technology.
The IRB also takes this allegation seriously, and now places high priority in efforts to increase taxpayers' confidence in the services they provide.
The IRB also said it will continue to work to improve service quality and act transparently in dealing with issues.
