The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip was launched last November with TSMC's 4nm technology and equipped with 1x ARM Cortex-X3 3.05GHz CPU, 3x ARM Cortex-A715 2.85GHz CPU and 4x ARM Cortex-A510 1.8GHz CPU. So far, Vivo is the first manufacturer to use a processing chip in its devices through the X90 series.
The picture of the presence of a new generation of processing chips began to be imagined to happen in the near future following the emergence of rumors about it through an entry uploaded by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. There is no certainty about the official name but it may be known as Dimensity 9200+, at the same time it is believed to be MediaTek's most powerful chip with built-in 5G this year. This is matched with an increase in CPU power which is said to be able to offer better performance than its predecessor.
Early expectations also found that it might use the second-generation 4nm technology produced by TSMC. Furthermore, it also comes with eight cores that use the same 1+3+4 configuration with the main core speed exceeding 3.5GHz. This chip is also expected to arrive by the second half of this year which also shows Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi may be among the earliest manufacturers to possibly use it in their upcoming devices.
