Meta will restore messaging support from within Facebook app

Today Facebook has announced that they have 2 billion daily active users, the highest number of users in the company's history. In the same announcement of Facebook, some updates to the application were also notified.

First of all is the Facebook app back to support the messenger messaging directly in the application. This feature is ready to be supported until it stopped in 2014, forcing users to download the Messenger app.

Last year, we reported that the Facebook app would resemble Tiktok and return the messaging from within the app. The news feed on Kuini's Facebook has already followed the artificial intelligence of Tiktok, meaning the next step is for the support of the messaging.

These changes may be accelerated due to the use of messaging that allegedly reached 140 billion messages a day on meta applications. Reels are shared to DM Instagram for 1 billion times a day, and on Facebook groups community members are actively using messaging features.

With many people using messaging, it makes sense for the meta to focus on just one application because that's a more efficient and easy path. But the update of the application to support this feature may take longer as it wants to ensure securities and privacy, especially the messenger who is ready to support full encryption messaging.
