Microsoft Edge Now Comes With Bing Chat Built In

Microsoft's use of the GPT-4 artificial intelligence-powered Bing search engine continues to grow. Within a month of introduction there were already 100 million users and over 45 million conversations.

Many of Microsoft's proposals to keep Bing popular include including it directly into the Windows 11 Taskbar search box and wanting to integrate it directly into Microsoft Edge. Previously the new Bing support was also given to iOS and Android devices.

Bing Chat Edge

Latest in the new Microsoft Edge update, this GPT-4 powered Bing has been integrated directly. When pressing the Bing logo, a side panel will open for users to start a conversation with Bing asking various questions without switching tabs.

Edge Sidebar

Additionally, Microsoft also introduced the same new sidebar feature on the Chrome web browser. This sidebar bp;eh provides quick access to user's favorite settings, features and other interesting functions including with Microsoft services.

edge Drop

An interesting thing that I like about this update is the Drop feature. Through it the user can transfer files from the phone directly to OneDrive with the use of a conversation in the messaging application.
