Microsoft Security Copilot Improves Cyber Security Using AI Launched

Microsoft Security Copilot was launched early this morning with another of their services that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce workload. Through Security Copilot, the task of monitoring cyber security will be enhanced using artificial intelligence.

Among the tasks it can do is to help the cyber security team of an organization to quickly detect any attack. New customers can for example directly ask Security Copilot what security vulnerabilities exist in the company's IT system. Based on system information and existing databases, existing vulnerabilities will be listed.

Security teams can then focus on the most serious vulnerabilities to patch before it's too late without having to hunt for them manually. Security Copilot can also provide a real-time summary of detected attacks to facilitate report generation. It is not designed to replace humans but rather to reduce the menial work that security forces have to do.

Security Copilot is currently available to some Microsoft customers for a limited period before it is offered as a universal product in the near future.
