MRT Putrajaya Phase 2 Now Operating With Free Fares Until March 31

The MRT Putrajaya Phase 2 line will start operations at 3pm today, opening a direct route from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral. In conjunction with its launch today, the MRT Putrajaya Phase 2 service can be used by many for free until March 31. The use of MRT Putrajaya Phase 1 trains will still be charged as usual.

MRT Putraya Phase 2 opened almost a year after Phase 1 opened on June 16 last year. At that time only 12 stops were opened between Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu with a line of 17.5km. With today's full opening, 36 stations are now open with a total length of 56 kilometers and includes 36 stations from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Central. Like Phase 1, Phase 2 also opened later than the original date of January 2023.
