Now, 11 Highways Will Be Involved With An Open Payment System - Pay Tolls Using Credit And Debit Cards

 


Continuing from the partnership of 6 highways that will implement an open payment system - allowing users to pay using credit and debit cards in addition to Touch n Go, now the Minister of Public Works has announced the addition of 5 more new highways under this open payment system project.


The highways involved are, including:


Damansara – Puchong Highway (LDP)

West KL Traffic Reporting Scheme (SPRINT)

Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas)

SMART Tunnel

Kuala Lumpur – Putrajaya Expressway (MEX)

Sungai Besi Highway

New Beach Highway

Ampang - Kuala Lumpur Elevated Expressway

Guthrie Corridor Expressway

Penang Bridge

Butterworth – Kulim Highway


The implementation of this open payment system will begin in mid-September 2023.


With this offering, it is expected to provide freedom for users in making toll payments, and overcome the problem of insufficient balance and others.
