The government today officially launched the Fixed Broadband Unity Package, bringing a fixed broadband internet package for homes at a price of RM69 for 30Mbps.
This plan targets the B40 group, the elderly, the disabled and also military and police veterans.
Through this package, users will be able to enjoy the internet at a slightly lower price than the normal selling price. For comparison, the price of the 30Mbps package by Unifi is RM89, but is offered with a RM20 discount under this plan.
From a rough review, Unifi (Unifi Unity Package) and YTL Broadband (bhome30 Unity Package) have published this Fixed Broadband Unity Package offer on their respective websites, and can be subscribed to by those who qualify. In addition, TIME has also previously announced the offer of a 100Mbps package at a price of RM69 per month for the same target group.
