The Oppo Pad 2 was launched in China last week with significant improvements over the previous generation. For example, such as a 2.8K Ultra HD 144Hz resolution screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, a 9510mAh battery and a 67W charging system.
The latest tablet has been found through the SIRIM website in Malaysia. It is listed with the model number OPD2202 (OPPO Pad 2) which was registered by JIE BUSINESS SDN BHD on 28 March 2023. This also gives an indication that its launch for the Malaysian market may take place in the near future.
This was found to be quite interesting considering that the previous generation was not offered in Malaysia, instead they only came with the Oppo Pad Air which is a tablet for light use. A matter that is also a question, will the internal hardware also be maintained as a variation in China or vice versa? Likewise with its launch date which is also still a mystery.
