Chinese edgang site Pinduoduo's app has been removed from the Google Play Store today along with several other apps developed by them. Through the Play Protect feature, Google is now warning Android users to uninstall this application immediately because it has some features similar to a malicious application.
According to a TechCruch report, Pinduoduo has been accused by several security researchers in China of placing malware in their applications to track user activity. For security reasons, the Pinduoduo application and several other applications developed by them have been pulled from the Play Store while investigations are carried out to ensure they are safe to use. Pinduoduo has not yet issued an official statement on this issue.
