The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ have just been launched as two more new entry-level specifications. Sharing further, the device is now found listed on the SIRIM Malaysia site on February 13, 2023 for the Redmi A2. Meanwhile, the Redmi A2+ is listed on February 22, 2023. Both are registered by Xiaomi Technologies Malaysia and usually any device that has entered this database gives the impression that the launch in Malaysia is getting closer.
The only question is, when it will be officially offered in Malaysia is still unknown. The same goes for the memory and storage options that will be provided. Therefore, let's all look forward to further sharing by Xiaomi Malaysia itself.
Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ were announced with only one difference, which is the presence of a fingerprint scanner on the back panel of the plus variant. Meanwhile, other specifications are the same on both. Starting with the front panel, it's a notched 6.52-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a standard refresh rate. This is paired with a MediaTek Helio G36 chip, an 8MP + QVGA main camera, a 5MP selfie camera and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging via a microUSB port.
