NVIDIA's latest graphics card series, the GeForce RTX 4000 is expected to come with a new model as early as next month, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.
This is quite interesting especially since this graphics card was launched later compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, which was rebranded from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with 12GB of GDDR6 memory that was introduced earlier this year.
In terms of specifications, this GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card is expected to still use the AD104 graphics processing chip used on the GeForce RTX 4070Ti graphics card, but with a lower number of CUDA cores at 5888 cores and a Boost Clock speed of 2475MHz.
Just like the more powerful graphics card, it will still feature 12GB of GDDR6 memory with a fast 192bit interface.
Currently, there are rumors on Twitter that this graphics card will be introduced by NVIDIA on April 13, 2023 by a well-known component information leaker for the exact announcement dates.
NVIDIA has not yet released any official details about this graphics card, including its launch date, but typically the details shown are pretty accurate, and not too far from the official announcement.
So far, the only detail that remains unknown is the price tag of this graphics card, but based on the price tag for the previous NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card set at $799, it would not be surprising if the GeForce RTX 4070 will come with a price tag $50-$100 cheaper than the offer.
