Samsung has denied reports from Korea that they are developing their own design CPU for "Galaxy chips". At this time all Exynos device chips use ARM design CPU. Once upon a time they used their own design chips named Mongoose but it was stopped in 2019 due to performance and heat issues.
This year Samsung used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip on the Galaxy S23 series with an increase in the main core of the CPU and GPU to provide the advantage over competitors. However, Samsung is developing an Eyxnos chip dedicated to Galaxy devices that are expected to be announced in 2025.
Samsung TM Roh's mobile device's business CEO in an interview with us said Samsung has always considered the use of chips on their devices. The importance is given to the most powerful SOC that meets the needs of the market.
