Scientists Want To Set Its Own Time Zone For The Moon

Lately, various space agencies from all over the world are looking at space exploration, at the same time focusing on opening a settlement on the Moon, opening a special station on the Moon, and so on. With these various space races, now a number of space agencies are in discussions to form and set a separate time zone for Earth's natural satellite, the Moon.

It is said that with the race to the Moon, it would be difficult to plan multiple missions if different time zones were all used for reference. Because of that, now the European Space Agency, NASA and a number of agencies are discussing in wanting to set their own time zone on the Moon.

In trying to set this time zone, it has its own challenges, including who will manage it – whether it is one entity or the other, how the setting process is and so on.

However, this step is important before the start of more frequent space exploration. If it is successfully implemented on the Moon, it is not impossible that the same thing will also be established on other planets - at the same time leading to ease in the exploration process without interfering with the launch schedule of other parties.
