Qualcomm took over the Nuvia company a few years ago after developing Apple's Silicon processing chip, and is expected to battle with Apple for the throne of the most powerful laptop Arm processing chip soon.
Latest, early benchmark scores for Qualcomm's latest processing chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4, which is the processing chip with the code name Hamoa that was shown last year.
Through the Geekbench benchmarks, we can see that this processing chip comes with a total of 12 cores, where eight cores are high-performance cores, and the other four are low-power cores that do not use much energy.
The name of the processing chip is also seen as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Next Generation, and has a speed of 2.38GHz which is seen to be lower than usual. The benchmark score of this processing chip also shows 613 points for single core and 5241 for multi-core, which indicates that this processing chip is still in the early phase of its development.
In the meantime this chip was also tested in a system that uses as much as 16GB of memory, but based on the details shown, it is expected to support as much as 64GB of memory.
There are also rumors that this is a processing chip with lower processing power. different from the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4 shown last year. Even so, it is expected that this processing chip will only be officially noticed at the end of this year or early next year.
