Sony Launches a Special Camera for the Visually Impaired

To use a good vision camera to use it. For this reason, since camera technology was developed almost 200 years ago, visually impaired people cannot use it. But the Sony DSC-HX99RNV camera has been launched with it designed specifically for this group.

The Sony DSC-HX99RNV camera is a Sony DSC-HX99 camera that is equipped with a QD Laser Retissa Neoviewer system as a replacement for the normal viewfinder. It beams the images captured by the camera directly onto the retinas of users with vision issues. Therefore, people with vision issues such as near blindness or extreme nearsightedness can use the camera for the first time.

According to Sony, the QD laser transmitter technology used is expensive but Sony will absorb part of the cost to enable the Sony DSC-HX99RNV to be sold at a price of $600 (~RM2700) starting in the middle of this year. Sony has a policy of allowing cameras to be tested in advance to ensure suitability for use and limiting the purchase of one camera per individual.
