SoundCloud is one of the popular music streaming platforms among music fans, because it has a community feature and is more focused on music creators uploading and promoting their music.
Now SoundCloud is already a music streaming platform that can be subscribed to. Most recently, following many other streaming apps and platforms – SoundCloud also wants to offer a TikTok-like feature for users to explore the content on offer by scrolling up or down vertically.
The site will have a Discover tab to view suggested content based on user interests and a Following tab for content from artists or users that are followed only. This feature is for the Feed tab which previously was to see what the latest artists shared or re-shared by friends.
On this new Feed there is also a 30-second clip display as a preview/pre-listen to the latest music. This new feature is currently being tested on both the iOS and Android apps to select users.
