Tesla has officially entered the Malaysian market with the opening of its operations office, vehicle service center and Supercharger network. This was announced by Tengku Zafrul, the Minister of International Trade through his Twitter account just now.
MITI has already approved Tesla's application to import their battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Among the complaints of Tesla users in Malaysia over the years is the lack of support for the fast Supercharger charging system that offers free charging.
In addition to service and charging centers, Tesla's official sales stores will also be open. Tesla is the company responsible for popularizing electric vehicles in the world with a share of over 60% globally.
