The Moon Is Expected To Be Equipped With A 4G Network As Early As 2023

While there are still areas on Earth that have yet to be fully covered by 4G networks, that has not stopped plans to bring 4G network support to the Moon.

This year, Nokia is expected to equip the Moon with 4G network support, which will facilitate communication involving various missions in space, especially on the Moon.

Nokia aims to launch a mission to the Moon in a few months, via a SpaceX rocket.

This 4G network will be powered by a central station with an antenna designed on the lander on the Moon, Nova-C. It is also expected to be equipped with a solar-powered rover.

If successful, the LTE network developed will also be used on future Moon missions.

Anyway, for information, previously planning to introduce a 4G network in this month has been done since 2018, but has been delayed several times. Let's all look forward to whether it will be successful this year or otherwise.
