Elon Musk has now stated that, in a move to combat the number of bots on the Twitter platform, starting April 15, 2023, Twitter will only display shared Tweets from verified accounts only on the "For You" tab.
This will simultaneously limit sharing from Twitter Blue accounts, government verification, and only verified company entities that are displayed on the relevant section.
In addition, only these verified accounts will be able to vote on the census conducted via Tweets on Twitter.
Previously, Twitter has also announced that they will remove legacy verification tokens, and only offer blue verification tokens that are paid under Twitter Blue only starting this April.
Could it be that with these measures, more people subscribe to Twitter Blue, or more people will leave the platform?
