Ulefone is a device manufacturer known for its rugged Android phones. Each of their devices is usually really sturdy and can survive being dropped on concrete, including in a pool or being thrown from a high place.

Their devices are usually powered by MediaTek chips only. But at MWC Barcelona 2023 they quietly unveiled the Ulefone 23 Ultra which is their first device to use a Snapdragon chip. Not only that, the chip of choice is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 making the 23 Ultra their first flagship device.

The 23 Ultra comes with a side-to-side curved 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz screen and uses an under-screen camera. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is paired with 16GB RAM memory with 8GB RAM virtual memory and 1TB internal storage. The selfie camera is 16MP and the rear camera is 108+64+64 Megapixel.

The device's battery uses a 7000mAh capacity that supports 120W fast charging. The Ulefone 23 Ultra also supports 5G networks and runs Android 13. According to Ulefone's marketing representative, the device will use a titanium frame that is durable and strong but remains light while the rear panel is a special plastic with an aramid carbon fiber finish.

The Ulefone 23 Ultra also passes IP68 standards for protection from water and dust and MIL-STD-810H as a military-grade rugged device.
