Vivo X Fold 2 will be launched in the near future and before it can reach the market it will have to undergo various tests. Recently benchmark tests for the X Fold 2 for Antutu 3D were leaked and confirmed the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
This makes the X Fold 2 the first foldable screen device to use this chip. Other devices in this class still use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Dimensity 9000+ for example. What we noticed about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is better performance, no overheating issues and leads to longer battery life. This is a good thing for dual-screen foldable devices like the X Fold.
