Xiaomi 13 Pro Receives 136 DXOMark Score – Comparable to Vivo X90 Pro


 The Xiaomi 13 series was launched globally on February 26, then brought into Malaysia the next day with a selling price starting at RM3499. One of the announced models is the Xiaomi 13 Pro with the use of Leica lenses and built-in special features that make the camera feel interesting to use.



DxOMark also now shares a new report on its camera capabilities which is seen to record a score comparable to a Vivo X90 Pro. The test results show that the Xiaomi 13 Pro scored 136 overall for the main camera capabilities. For the test summary, it got 136 points for photography ability, 60 points for bokeh ability, 156 points for zoom ability and 129 points for video recording.


Praise is given to the device's camera's ability to produce photos and videos with good detail, color and exposure. It also has good zoom performance for medium and close distances. The performance of the display is also praised with the ability to display proper image viewing, in addition to the ability to record with satisfactory audio effects.



Criticism is also given to the device's difficulty capturing images quickly in challenging situations, such as low lighting. Next is the failure of the device to control good exposure in high contrast scenes. Not only that, audio recording is also said to be unsuitable for use in loud audio sources such as concerts. Furthermore, the failure of the device to give a good display when used under the scorching sunlight.



Sharing about the Vivo X90 Pro, the test summary shows that the device scored 133 points for photography capabilities, 70 points for bokeh capabilities, 141 points for zoom capabilities and 133 points for video recording. Praise goes to the camera's ability to control exposure well in low light. Zoom performance is also good overall, with the built-in video stabilization feature also working very well. Criticism was also given to the failure of autofocus to work well in video recording. Audio performance is also at a good level with clear audio effects.



Vivo X90 Pro can also be purchased in Malaysia with a retail price of RM4999. As an option you can also get a cheaper model through the Vivo X90 which is sold at RM3699.
