Xiaomi, Oppo And Vivo Support Cross-Brand Old To New Device Data Transfer

 

The process of transferring data from an old Android device to a new device is a bit difficult if the new device is from a different brand. Using Google cloud backup exists but it doesn't transfer photos stored on old devices. For users of Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo devices, the process of transferring old data to a new device has become easy after all three companies agreed to support cross-brand transfers.

Oppo previously used Clone Phone, Xiaomi with Mi Mover and Vivo with EasyShare. Starting all three applications can be used for data transfer between devices of different brands. Currently support is only provided for Mi Mover 4.0, Clone Phone 13.3.7 and EasyShare 6.2.5.1

Currently this cross-brand data transfer support feature is only supported in China first.
